I gave a presentation at the recent HRM Singapore Recruit and Retain Congress. The focus of my topic was on the use of social networking in human resource recruiting.
Initially, the conference producer and I were brain storming on what might be a leading edge topic to discuss in the Singapore context. Based on the participant feedback not many have been using Web 2.0 as part of the recruiters’ tool kit. In fact, many in the audience indicated that their IT department block out Internet access.
The content is fairly basic and is meant for the “first time” user of social networks I’ve posted the slide presentation on Slideshare.
