Integrated Talent Acquisition Strategy

I gave a presentation on Integrated Talent Acquisition today to a group of HR and recruitment professionals today in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event hosted by Coreventus is a two day workshop. Unfortunately, I was only able to stay for one day.

I shared my ideas of the “9 key components” to a more effective integrated approach. While none of it is easy – easy to say, difficult to implement – requires personal discipline. I provided a simple workforce planning template to use with line managers. I find this helpful in holding recruitment conversations with managers.

The discussion was mostly centered on how recruiters can be more effective in meeting the demands. Employer brand and business acumen were ideas shared that can improve the current circumstances.

Staffing managers responsible for the staffing function need to be focused on building the staffing function into “winning teams.”
